Every Grimmtale module depends on this shared library, which Foundry VTT installs for you.
GS: Library holds the code the studio's modules share. That includes support for Foundry VTT v13 and v14, window and settings helpers, and combat turn tracking on every connected client. When several GMs are connected, it picks one GM's client to make shared changes. It also adds an Appearance menu and an update check.
It does nothing by itself. GS: Spectator and GS: Quality of Life both require it. Modules the studio releases later will require it too.
You do not install it yourself. Foundry VTT installs GS: Library as a dependency the first time you install a Grimmtale module. It asks you to confirm this. Say yes. Foundry VTT checks it for updates the same way as every other module. It is free. You do not need to set it up.
Module Settings gains an Appearance menu. There a GM chooses the ground, accent, surface and text colours of every Grimmtale window for everyone. With Just me, a player sets colours for themselves. A look can be saved by name and shared as a code.
When a world loads, the library checks each installed Grimmtale module for a newer version. It checks at most once every six hours. It lists what it finds in a dialog that only the GM sees. It installs nothing. Updates install from the Setup screen. The world setting Tell the GM about module updates turns the check off.
